PROBLEM

Termites are social insects, mostly about 5-8 mm in size, with a whitish appearance, which may resemble ants.

They live in colonies and feed on wood and all types of cellulose-containing materials.

Although the activity of most termite species is beneficial for the conservation of the environment, of the around 3000 different termite species in the world, 6% of them are considered pests because they seriously damage the structure of buildings, even causing collapses.

OUR SOLUTION

As specialists in the design and manufacture of IoT equipment, we have created a high-precision sensor for early termite detection.

Our sensors do not require baits as they use state-of-the-art technology to detect the vibrations generated by termites when eating wood, remotely identifying the presence of termites at the beginning of an infestation.

Our algorithm can be adapted to detect any other type of insect of interest to our customers.

The equipment is ultra-sensitive, with the ability to amplify the vibratory signal up to more than 500,000 times. The device has an automatic gain control, which allows the algorithm to adjust to the noise peculiarities of the environment for better detection.

Early detection is key to preventing significant structural damage and costly repairs.
